In 2008, ExportNZ became a division of the Canterbury Employers' Chamber of Commerce. Through the affiliation with BusinesNZ, ExportNZ Canterbury can provide the knowledge, information, contacts, training, support and services to help you grow your export business.
ExportNZ offers members:

- championing policies that encourage export growth and free enterprise
- representing exporters' view to Government
- promoting exporters' interests through the media
- preferential access to new and information about exporting issues directly affecting,or relevant to, exporters.

Receive member rates to attend the Export Canterbury Breakfast series, sponsored by IRl. Breakfasts feature presentations from internationally successful New Zealand business people, providing a platform for learning, inspiration and networking.

Attend these sponsored events for free. These after 5 events are great for networking in a relaxed environment, while sharing your experience and knowledge with other members.

Through our close connections with other trade related organisation we are able to offer access to various additional events throughout the year at preferential rates.
Forums are hosted by ExportNZ to enable exporters to express and share their views on a common issue and enable action to be taken as required locally or nationally.

Export specific training
Every year we offer various training sessions on importing and exporting. Some training sessions are run anually, while others are developed and run as demand requires.
Our regualr training on offer includes:
- Export Procedures and Documentation
A full day practical workshop taking in all aspects of the export process from export planning, to receiving the order, through to arranging shipping, insurance, finance and Customs clearance.
- Working with Exports Letter of Credit
A practical workship delving further into letters of credit and their idiosyncrasies.
