The New Zealand Chambers of Commerce is a body of some 31 Chambers of Commerce throughout New Zealand, serving the interests of all of the Chambers in New Zealand.
The Chambers of Commerce were created in 1856. The Chambers are a business association and in no way connected to any element of Government, local or central. Business is vital to the success of New Zealand. It is its role to grow and promote the interests of members and business as a whole.
The Chambers exist to promote, support, and encourage sustainable, profitable business. The NZ Chambers aim to provide the best commercial environment in which business can achieve its goals.
