Business planning forecast report

Business NZ has released its latest planning forecast report.  This bulletin is designed to help your business planning. It brings together forecasts of important indicators to help you prepare budgets and business plans. 

The forecasts are drawn from two main sources. The New Zealand information is based on a survey of the five main trading banks (ANZ-National, ASB, BNZ and Westpac). Australian information is based on consensus forecasts compiled by the UK Economist. Sources of other information are as shown. Where appropriate, averages are included alongside the highest and the lowest forecasts, giving an idea of the spread of forecasts and therefore of the uncertainty involved.  

The information in this report is of a general nature; your firm is unique, and you will need to make your own decisions. However, the better informed you are about the way various business people see the future, the better the decisions you can make.
