The New Zealand Government offers a full range of grants and funding assistance designed to encourage improvement in the capability of existing businesses. The grants are administered through various government agencies responsible for aspects of business and economic growth.  The eligibility criteria are strict and, in general, funds are not available to supplement a shortage of capital.
