Prime Minister's Business Scholarships

Scholarships are available to New Zealand businesspeople for study at international universities

Applications are being sought from owners or executives of export-focused firms for the 2011 Prime Minister’s Business Scholarships.

The Scholarships pay successful applicants half the costs of studying at an international business school, including course fees, airfares, accommodation and associated costs.

The Scholarships have been set up to help New Zealand businesspeople acquire management skills for the globally competitive marketplace.

Applicants must be owners or executives of New Zealand-based firms which are exporting or beginning to export.

Last year’s scholarship winners are executives from Tasman Bay Food Group, Zespri, Access Pacific Ltd, HRL Morrison & Co, Pultron Composites Ltd, EBOC Group, Meridian Energy and NDA Group who are now studying at Harvard, INSEAD, University of Sydney, the Wharton and London Business Schools and others.
