  Peter Townsend - Chief Executive
As well as being the Chief Executive of the Employers' Chamber, Peter holds several corporate directorships and is involved with a range of community groups and initiatives in this region that are in harmony with the objectives of the Employers’ Chamber.  Peter is the Honorary Consul for Chile for the South Island, a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and a Fellow of the Institute of Management.

  Liz Wright - Manager, Executive Office
Liz provides a comprehensive and professional range of administrative services and support to the Chief Executive, the Board and members.  She also provides assistance to help ensure that the human resource, business planning cycle, communications, marketing, sponsorship, events, reception and CEO's office functions are run in an efficient and timely manner.

  Chelsea Bettridge - Executive Office Assistant
Chelsea provides administration support to the Executive Office and Membership teams as well as supporting  the Finance team by processing the creditors.  Other responsibilities include providing receptionist backup and general support to all departments as necessary.

Sinead Bradley - Receptionist
Sinead is one of the first people you come into contact with when you call or visit the Employers' Chamber. Her role includes front line reception and telephonist responsibilities and organising the certificates of origin.  Sinead also provides administration support to the Executive Office and general support to all departments as necessary.

  Nicola Clifton-Mogg - Receptionist

Leeann Watson - Manager, Business Performance
Leeann manages the business performance team delivering professional business advice across all areas in running a successful business; including international trade (both importing and exporting), R & D funding, business planning and strategy. Leeann is a director of Champion Canterbury Ltd, a business awards which celebrates Canterbury business achievements. Leeann's role also overseas the training and events calendar.

  Monique Baars - International Trade Adviser/Biz Adviser
Monique is one of the business performance advisers providing members with practical, tailored business advice and guidance. Her speciality is international trade, assisting exporters and importers to do business offshore. Monique also manages the free Government-funded Biz business information centre, providing business information and referrals to SME's and entrepreneurs.

  Andrew Kitson - Business Adviser 
Andrew provides members with assistance and practical advice on many business matters with a particular specialisation in manufacturing. Andrew has experience of international markets (primarily East Asia) and business strategy and governance within them. He is on hand to answer any manufacturing queries members may have and to keep members up-to-date with the latest issues that are impacting business.

  Rob Lawrence - Technology & Marketing Development Consultant
Rob provides advice and assistance for organisations seeking information and application for various grants and funding schemes available to New Zealand businesses. He also provides advice and advocacy on big pictures issues including sustainability, infrastructure and environment. Rob provides a back up advisory service in conjunction with the business performance team.

Keith Woodroof - Manager, Employers' Services
Keith provides advice to employers across a wide range of human resource and employment relations issues including bargaining strategies and employment agreement (formerly employment contract) development. Keith represents members at mediation conferences and in collective bargaining and also when advising members on employment relationship problems and working with the member to develop practical solutions. He brings a wealth of experience to the role having worked with major shifts in employment legislation over the past 30 years.

Linda Ryder - Employment Lawyer 
Linda is a senior practitioner who specialises exclusively in employment law having represented clients in employment mediation, the Employment Tribunal, the Employment Relations Authority, the Employment Court and the Court of Appeal. Linda has extensive experience conducting disciplinary investigations, drafting employment agreements (individual and collective), representing employers facing personal grievance claims, redundancy/restructuring proposals and all other employment related issues.

Shirley Page - Employers' Services Executive Assistant
Shirley is the Legal Executive Assistant to the three employment lawyers. Her role involves file management, preparing and filling legal documents, member liaison and assistance. Shirley also supports the Employers' Services team, co-ordinates the Wage and Salary Survey and distributes the Employer Bulletin and Human Resources Manual.

Jude manages our successful Canterbury migrant employment programme which works with matching new migrant and refugees with Canterbury employers'. This programme has been running for five years and we have placed over 400 skilled migrants and refugees into jobs.
