The different training types include:

Workshop

Hands-on, practical sessions encouraging learning from both the presenter and other participants through the sharing of knowledge and networking.  These are solution-based, interactive and involve group participation.  They are generally a full-day or a half-day.

Briefing

Designed to give you an update on recent legislation changes and act as a refresher to training or information you may have received previously.  They are used as a method of disseminating the latest information on regulation changes.  They are generally one to two hours in length.

Network

Issue and/or industry-specific interactive sessions designed to bring members together to talk about the impact of a particular issue may have on their sector.  Network events also provide members with opportunity to build on their business contacts and network effectively.

Course

Training is generally held over more than one day and is provided in partnership with other training providers/presenters.  Occasionally testing may be a requirement.

Seminar

Solution-based and delivered through theory versus practical case studies.  Seminars involve participants working on their own.  They provide guidance, advice and referrals for further information.  These are generally three and a half hours in length.
