Beyond delivering its core fibre broadband services, Enable is focused on delivering strong financial returns to our community and adding additional value by addressing community needs; and they do all of this in a truly sustainable way.
In 2021, Enable returned its first dividend ($18 million) to the people of Christchurch as a community-owned asset worth well over $600 million. Enable is focused on eliminating digital inequity for the people of Christchurch and has announced its first major initiative with Ōtautahi Community Housing Trust (ŌCHT) to eliminate digital inequity for ŌCHT housing tenants through a new 10-year partnership.

They are embracing the opportunity to move to being a net zero emissions business by 2030, driving down direct operations and purchased electricity emissions and expanding their sustainability goals to partners and suppliers to reduce indirect emissions.
