As with almost every other organisation in the region, we too have been impacted by COVID-19, which has required a step change in how we conduct our organisation, as well as our strategic planning for the future. This has presented us with an opportunity to accelerate our transformation, a journey we commenced in 2019.

We are looking for a diverse group of passionate people representative of our membership to help The Chamber leverage opportunities and navigate the challenges of a rapidly evolving business environment whilst continuing to support and empower our members, and partner for impact. In particular, we have a need for Board members with expertise in membership organisations, change management, technology, tourism and infrastructure.

The Board’s role is to set policy, determine the strategic direction of The Chamber and support the Chief Executive. The Board consists of 12 Directors, each serving a two-year term. This year we have six vacancies on the Board and two Board members stepping down, which provides an opportunity for new members to be elected to the Board.

18 September: Nominations closed
12 October: Electronic voting commences – special voting email distributed to the key contact of each member organisation with link to vote
4 November: Electronic voting closes at 5.00pm
5 November: Results announced at AGM  (held 4.00pm at The Chamber, 57 Kilmore Street)
