Quinton Hall is Principal – Strategy and Management / Kaiārahi Rautaki of a new consultancy in Christchurch called EQMade. EQMade specialise in designing and developing connected customer experiences that deeply engage the end user. One of the major projects they are currently working on is the design and build of the new All Blacks Experience based at SkyCity in Auckland.
He is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences through building strong culture that is aligned around common purpose, driven by strong values and a focus on long term sustainability.
Quinton has strong governance and stakeholder management experience. He is experienced in complex governance management reporting to multiple boards within organisations as well as complex joint venture structures. Along with this he also has significant experience with Tikanga Māori with stakeholder management experience at the iwi, rūnanga and hapū level.
Prior to EQMade Quinton was the Chief Executive / Kaihautū of Ngāi Tahu Tourism, the iwi-owned company that operates many of Aotearoa’s iconic tourism and adventure experiences. He returned to his hometown of Christchurch (Ōtautahi) in 2014 for the role with Ngāi Tahu. Prior to this, he was based in Auckland as Chief Operating Officer with Tourism Holdings Limited.
Quinton’s extensive experience draws from both tourism development and the wider business community. He was also formerly Chief Technology Officer at NZ Lotteries.
His experience covers a range of areas, including operational management, digital, design, visitor experience, project management, human resources, asset management, procurement, and information technology.
